Legendary WWII-era flying boat revived in miniature

The former Imperial Japanese Navy's Kawanishi H8K flying boat is widely considered to be the best flying boat in the world until the end of World War II, and a group at Yokohama National University Faculty of Engineering has now rebuilt the plane in miniature to study the craft and its innovative design.
